As a Team Lead, you can expect to review felony case files fromlaw enforcement, direct and lead further investigation, evaluate, and chargecases, negotiate the plea recommendations, and conduct jury trials. Inaddition, this candidate will carry a trial line case load and assist otherteam members by advising on their case load. They would regularly collaboratewith the investigators and victim witness advocates.
Preferred Qualifications: Approximately 3-5 years of prosecutionexperience. All applicants must be amember in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or be in good standing ofanother state's bar association that is eligible for reciprocity admittance tothe State Bar of Georgia. Applicants must be eligible or admitted to practicebefore the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. All candidates aresubject to a background check. Applicants selected for hire will be subject tofingerprinting, a criminal history background check, a motor vehicle driver'shistory check and pre-employment drug screening; employment is contingent uponthe completion and satisfactory results of each investigation.
