Job Description:
The OT/OTA is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment. ADOR will assist the DOR in daily duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Rehabilitation with daily department operations and clinical oversight.
- Assist with staff scheduling, coverage, productivity, and performance management.
- Monitor documentation, Medicare/payer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with nursing, MDS, administration, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to therapists and therapy assistants.
- Assist with monitoring department metrics, including productivity, revenue, and clinical outcomes.
- Help ensure timely completion of evaluations, progress reports, recertifications, discharges, and other required documentation.
- Participate in surveys, audits, and compliance initiatives as needed.
- Serve as a department leader and support a culture of quality patient care, accountability, and teamwork.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the Director of Rehabilitation's absence.
