We are looking to find an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to join the nursing administration team at our skilled nursing facility in Amsterdam, NY!
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing in day-to-day administrative function
Make written or oral reports to necessary personnel
Monitor and maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility as the Infection Prevention Specialist
Participate in the developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling of staff development classes, training, and orientation
Review and revise care plans and assessments as needed
Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work duties
Monitor absenteeism to maintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel
Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.
Assistant Director of Nursing Services Requirements
Valid NYS RN license
Teaching/in-service experience
Preferred
Previous experience withPoint Click Care is a plus!
