We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON ) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to residents. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
- Coordinate infection control
- Plan organize and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
- Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
- Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents.
- Oversee the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred.
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred
- Infection Control: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must be computer literate and experience with EMR preferred
- Completion of IP Course within 3-6 months of hire would be expected.
