Position Summary

White Oak of Newberry is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This is a full‑time salaried position. It is an exciting time to be part of our team, as we have newly renovated the building and added a beautiful Memory Care Unit, and we have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and managing the overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others.
• Experience supervising staff and working in long‑term care preferred.
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations related to long‑term care facilities.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem‑solving, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Flexible, innovative, and exhibits professional demeanor.
