Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department
- Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
- Help coordinate staffing, scheduling, and clinical coverage
- Participate in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care plans and outcomes
- Assist with audits, quality assurance, and infection control initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing supervisory experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting
- Prior leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and support a clinical team in a fast-paced environment
