Are you a RN looking for a leadership position to advance your career? At AristaCare we have just the opportunity you are looking for. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON ) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the utmost quality and patient‑centered care of residents
- Coordinate infection control
- Plan, organize, and implement training programs/in‑services for clinical staff
- Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff
- Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of residents; this may include recruitment
- Oversee the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in long‑term care/sub‑acute setting is preferred
- Infection Control: 1 year (preferred)
- Must be computer literate and have experience with EMR preferred
- Completion of an IP Course within 3–6 months of hire would be expected
