About the Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered to our residents. You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures
- Supervising and mentoring nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care and customer service
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Developing and managing budgets and resources to optimize care delivery
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of medications and treatments
- Monitor and report on patient flow, length of stay, and quality metrics
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Collaborate with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting
- Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care
- Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
