We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON ) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
• Assist the DON with coordination of infection control
• Assist the DON in planing, organizing and implementing training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
• Assist the DON with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• Assist the DON in ensuring adequate and appropriate staffing of the facilities nursing department. This may include recruitment.
• Assist the DON in overseeing the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred, but not required.
• Three (3) years of experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred, but not required.
• Infection Control: 1 year experience preferred, but not required. Must have basic knowledge of IP.
• Must be computer literate and have experience with EMR systems. - PCC/SNF preferred, but not required.
• May be required to complete an IP Course, within 3-6 months of hire, (based on facility needs).
