Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (Healthcare)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing with the management of daily nursing operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and nursing department oversight.
• Monitor quality measures, clinical outcomes, and resident care standards.
• Conduct audits, investigations, and follow-up on clinical concerns.
• Assist with staff education, coaching, and performance improvement.
• Participate in survey preparedness and regulatory compliance activities.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment.

Qualifications:

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
