Family Tree Nursery is seeking an Assistant Dept Manager to support daily operations in our busy retail garden center. You’ll help lead a small team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain healthy, well-presented plants and products.
Responsibilities include assisting with staff scheduling, training, and task delegation, monitoring inventory and merchandising displays, and supporting opening/closing procedures. You’ll work hands-on with plants, answer gardening questions, and uphold our standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness while contributing to a positive, learning-focused culture.
