HYBRID ROLE – Assistant Corporate Controller

Responsibilities:
- Manage or assist with the timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the firm’s balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Design and implement new policies, controls, and workflows
- Drive automation/AI adoption in reconciliations, reporting, and consolidation
- Support M&A diligence and lead post-close integration
- Oversee the billing and collections processes to drive down Days Sales Outstanding and speed up cash collection
- Direct operational accounting activities including oversight of AP and Payroll functions
- Build and update short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to project daily, weekly, and monthly liquidity needs
- Build and mentor a growing accounting team, instilling accountability and high performance
- Support internal controls, SOX compliance, and ongoing process improvements
- Work closely with cross-functional leads to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience supporting publicly traded companies
- CPA required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience with M&A integration, working capital, and cash flow analysis
