Assistant Controller

Experience: Manager

Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year

What You'll Do

• Assist the Controller in overseeing all aspects of the general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to drive financial accuracy and process improvements
• Help manage and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Serve as a key liaison during audits and work closely with external auditors

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with supervisory or leadership exposure
• Background in manufacturing or distribution industry strongly preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar); strong Excel skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Strong communicator with the ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
