We are partnering with an alternative investment platform on a search for an Assistant Controller. The firm operates across asset management, a registered broker-dealer and digital assets, and is building out its corporate finance function as the platform adds entities and strategies.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership early, visibility across an entire multi-entity platform, and room to grow alongside a finance team that is being built out right now.

What You'll Own

• Monthly, quarterly and annual close across the holding company, the management company and all affiliated entities.
• Consolidated financial statements under US GAAP, including intercompany eliminations and expense allocations across the entity structure.
• Bank reconciliations, wires, transfers and intercompany cash movement across all entity accounts.
• Accounts payable end to end, plus management fee billing, intercompany invoicing and corporate expense administration.
• The day-to-day relationship with external auditors and external tax advisers through the annual audit and tax cycles.
• Onboarding new entities onto the general ledger, the banking platform and the close calendar as the platform grows.

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, career start in public accounting.
• Multi-entity close and consolidation experience, including intercompany and expense allocations.
• Corporate or management company accounting experience at an alternative asset manager or investment firm.
• CPA preferred.
• Hands-on and driven, comfortable owning the detail on a lean team.
