We're partnering with a leading alternative investment firm looking to add an Assistant Controller to its New York finance team.

This is an opportunity to take on greater ownership, work directly with senior leadership, and gain exposure to both the accounting and strategic finance sides of a growing investment platform.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee management company accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations across domestic and international entities
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close, intercompany transactions, and partnership accounting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
• Partner with senior leadership on key financial and operational initiatives
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, capital calls, and distributions
• Drive process improvements, automation, and accounting systems enhancements

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of accounting experience, ideally within private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments
• Strong management company accounting and financial reporting experience
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, consolidations, and partnership accounting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• CPA or public accounting background preferred
• NetSuite and Concur experience a plus
