Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support financial operations, reporting, and business performance for a manufacturing organization. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, support financial planning and analysis, strengthen internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial results, trends, variances, and operational KPIs to support business decisions.
• Monitor working capital, inventory, cash flow, and asset utilization.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support process improvements, ERP enhancements, and automation.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Engineering, HR, and other departments to align financial and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience required, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. xhqgsiq
• Ability to work collaboratively in both office and manufacturing environments; some travel may be required.
