Assistant Controller
Location: Northern San Diego | Hybrid – 3 Days On-Site
A newly created Assistant Controller position with a rapidly growing client. The Assistant Controller serves as the operational second-in-command to the Controller and plays a critical leadership role in overseeing accounting operations, team development, financial reporting, internal controls, audit readiness, and process transformation initiatives.
The Assistant Controller will directly supervise accounting personnel, including Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants & Payroll personnel. This role participates in hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, compensation recommendations, and termination decisions.
