Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller to join their leadership team and play a hands-on role in strengthening the accounting function, improving processes, and supporting an ongoing ERP transformation. Lead the general accounting and month-end close process , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee core accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, cash applications, inventory, fixed assets, and lease accounting . Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead the annual financial statement audit and support technical accounting research and documentation. Manage, mentor, and develop the general accounting team. Drive accountability, process improvements, and operational efficiency across the accounting function. Partner with internal teams to improve accounting technology, reporting, and processes. Support budgeting, variance analysis, internal controls, and ad hoc financial reporting. Identify opportunities to streamline the close process and improve the overall accounting operation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
6+ years of progressive accounting experience .
3+ years of supervisory or accounting leadership experience .
Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and general accounting.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an accounting team.
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems/technology.
Public accounting experience
CPA or CMA ERP implementation or upgrade experience
