Our client is seeking a well-established Assistant Controller to support ongoing accounting operations, process improvements, and ERP optimization initiatives. This role will partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, while helping drive efficiencies across accounting workflows and reporting processes.

Compensation: $170,000-$185,000 + Annual Incentive Bonus Eligibility
Reporting To: Corporate Controller
Most Important:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- ERP experience required, IFS HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Manufacturing, construction, project-based, or industrial industry experience
- Strong month-end close experience, GAAP compliance
- General ledger, journal entry, and account reconciliation expertise
- Financial analysis and reporting experience
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivots, and data analysis
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner across departments
Preferred Experience:
- ERP implementation, conversion, or optimization experience
- WIP, cost accounting, project accounting, or inventory accounting exposure
- Experience supporting systems and process improvement initiatives
Systems:
- Large ERP (IFS) environment
- Microsoft Excel
