Two required late nights | 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
About the Opportunity:
This leadership role oversees clinical and transitional services for adolescents in an RTF setting, with a focus on treatment planning, family engagement, care coordination, discharge planning, and successful transitions back into the community. The Assistant Clinical Director will supervise clinical/transitional staff and collaborate closely with psychiatry, nursing, therapists, youth advocates, schools, and community providers.
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a human services field
- 5+ years of behavioral health experience preferred
- 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Experience working with adolescents/youth with behavioral health needs
- Residential treatment or intensive behavioral health experience
- Experience with foster care, ACS, housing, or other child-serving systems strongly preferred
- Knowledge of OMH/OCFS regulations
- Experience with treatment planning, care coordination, trauma-informed care, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Comfortable with occasional home visits and community-based work
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and crisis-management skills
The program serves youth ages 12–18 with significant behavioral health needs, including youth with histories of psychiatric hospitalization and/or juvenile justice involvement. The role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful clinical leadership while supporting youth and families toward successful community transitions.
