Overview
The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM)invites applications from qualified candidates for the AssistantClinical/Associate Clinical Professor position. This is afull-time, 12-month Nursing faculty position teaching in theUndergraduate/Prelicensure Program. Faculty may elect differentdegrees of emphasis on the teaching, service, and scholarshipcomponents of the faculty role based on rank. This is not a remoteposition.
While this position is open until filled, Auburn University atMontgomery reserves the right to stop accepting applications onceinterviewing has begun.
Responsibilities
Candidates for this faculty position with expertise in AdultHealth Nursing are encouraged to apply. Acute care or criticalcare is preferred. This teaching position will support the Skillsand Simulation Lab Coordinator with set up and take down of allskills and other laboratory events and teach in the laboratories toinclude weekly labs, validations, open labs, competency validationsand other teaching as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must havecurrent clinical skills.
Candidates must hold a current unencumbered Alabama RN license orMultistate RN License.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree ordoctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Teaching experience ina baccalaureate nursing program and certified in clinicalspecialty.
