Assistant Branch ManagerThe Assistant Branch Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a commercial plumbing service division, working closely with leadership to ensure efficient scheduling, strong technician performance, and high-quality service delivery. This role plays a key part in coordinating field operations, supporting team development, and maintaining customer satisfaction.This position is ideal for someone with a background in plumbing service or field operations who is looking to transition into a leadership role within a growing organization.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily operations of the plumbing service department, ensuring efficient workflow and execution.Assist with scheduling and dispatching service technicians to meet customer needs and service timelines.Monitor technician productivity, quality of work, and overall job performance.Support training, coaching, and development of field personnel.Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.Review and assist with work orders, invoices, and job costing.Track department performance including labor, productivity, and service metrics.Support management of service agreements and customer follow-ups.Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and procedures.Assist in managing service vehicles, tools, and inventory.Help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service performance.Qualifications5+ years of experience in plumbing service, construction, or related field operations.Background as a Service Technician or Lead Technician preferred.Basic understanding of plumbing systems, service workflows, and field operations.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software.Valid driver's license.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in a lead, dispatcher, or supervisory role.Exposure to service scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination.Interest in long-term growth into branch or service management leadership.
