Tilly Bagel- Fulton Market is hiring for a part time bagel roller
Hours: Part-time, 2-3 days per week
Shift times: 9am-3pm with flexibility for 7am-3pm
We are passionate about making fresh, delicious bagels that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or any time of day. Our menu features a variety of bagels, sandwiches, spreads, all made with quality ingredients.
We are committed to providing excellent customer service and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- 1 year previous experience in baking/pastry is preferred
- Responsible for making dough, rolling bagels, cleaning tables, greeting guests, dishes, cleaning
- Assist other stations when necessary
- Be able to work well under pressure, multitask, and have excellent communication skills
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet the demands of a busy bagel shop
- Follow recipes and food safety guidelines, and have experience with food preparation equipment such as slicers and mixers
- Have passion about food and have a strong work ethic
- Work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new skills
- Stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Certified
