Position Summary

The School of Social Work at the University at Buffalo is searching for a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will have:

• A doctorate in Social Work or a related discipline
• An MSW with practice experience
• An active research agenda
• Experience teaching social work courses in seated, online, and hybrid environments

Duties

• Conducting fundable research
• Teaching in the school’s degree programs
• Engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration with university colleagues
• Participating on school committees

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in social work or a related field
• MSW or a master’s degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in social work or social welfare
• MSW and two years of post-MSW practice experience
