Assistant / Associate Professor of Surgery - Vascular Surgery (The Woodlands)

The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a board-certified vascular surgeon. This clinically active position will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, alongside our multidisciplinary group of physicians. The accepted candidate will be required to possess a track record of excellent clinical performance and scholarly enthusiasm.

Job Duties:

• Develop and participate in department and division clinical, research, and educational programs.
• Support the implementation of evidence based, state of the art protocols and quality metrics for the service at BCM.
• Provide call coverage for CHI St. Luke's Hospital, TCH, and other affiliated hospitals as needed.
• Actively participate in college, department, hospital and clinical professional meetings.
• Grow the vascular surgery division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility
• Completion of a certified vascular surgery residency program
• Completion of a certified vascular surgery fellowship program
