Job Duties

The School of Nursing and Health Professions (SoNHP) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for tenure‑track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions with an anticipated start date in August 2026. The candidate will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service. Rank will be determined upon review of qualifications.

Compensation

Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program associated with a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) appropriate to content area or near degree completion (final semester).
  • For advanced practice nurse practitioner applicants: eligible for national certification in advanced practice and/or recertification eligible with ANCC or AANP.
  • Unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate and Graduate level teaching experience.
  • Distance/online teaching experience.
  • Evidence of scholarship and service.
