Assist–Assoc Prof, Division Director of Pediatric Critical Care

Rutgers Health – New Jersey Medical School Department of Pediatrics offers an outstanding opportunity for a Pediatric Intensivist (to serve as Division Director of the PICU) to join our faculty of more than 30 full-time clinicians and scientists at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

As division director, the candidate will lead and direct Pediatric Critical Care, including coordination of faculty schedules and development of quality improvement initiatives, and provide patient care in the PICU at University Hospital and comprehensive evaluation and management for patients in coordination with other medical professionals. Candidate will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to educate patients and their families about their conditions. Candidate will participate in the education of medical students and residents. Candidate will participate in the inpatient rounding schedule of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and will actively contribute to the primary missions of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care through accessible high quality health care, scholarly activity and education.

Salary Details $240,640 - $384,000

The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. MD or DO degree and board certified in Pediatrics & Pediatric Critical Care Medicine

Certifications/Licenses

Candidate must possess a valid NJ medical license, CDS and DEA .

Applicant must demonstrate excellence as a clinician educator.
