The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.An Asset Operations Representative is responsible for planning and executing the Peak Season equipment strategy, executing RXO IMDL asset utilization strategy, and managing/growing Trailer Repo Solution accounts. This role acts as a liaison between vendors and carriers while working in a team environment from project inception to settlement. An Asset Operations Rep will also assist in pricing and execution of various procurement opportunities provided by owned accounts to include, but not limited to, equipment relocation projects, new equipment repositions, cartage moves, peak and non-peak related projected, and chassis equipment balancing.What your day-to-day will look like:Peak Project Management: Support pre-peak and post-peak equipment repositioning. Promote project growth and assess opportunity for future.Capacity Management: Complete ownership of all procurement and capacity planning and execution of all projects in assigned region from initial dispatch to final settlement.Cross-Departmental Alignment: Align Small Package Intermodal with new and existing RXO IMDL loads. Work with scheduling team to ensure proper equipment forecasting and reservations.Teamwork: As commitments expand, help train teammates to inherit select responsibilities.Customer Service: Maintain/service account commitments and incumbent business that falls outside of project-based responsibilities.Problem Solving: Display sense of urgency when troubleshooting issues. Escalate issues to the correct parties when internal & external problems arise intermittently.At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience1 year of experience in transportation or logisticsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience1 year of sales or customer service experience1+ year Peak Season experienceThe ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limitsDoes this sound like you?
