We are seeking an Asset Management Coordinator for our client site in Groton, CT. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best in class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, however, various hours may be required based on business demandAs an Asset Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for daily support activities of regulated and non-regulated assets and data management throughout the campus, including:Verifying the condition of incoming assets against purchase orders, documenting any damage or discrepanciesMonitoring asset movement within the facility using tracking systems and updating asset locations in the databaseHandling sensitive, heavy, high value assets/equipmentFollowing proper procedures for retiring or disposing of outdated or damaged assets, including documentation and recordkeepingAccurately recording asset details (serial numbers, descriptions, location) into the asset management system and applying appropriate tagsReceiving, storing, and distributing company assets within a warehouse or facility, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and proper handling of valuable equipment, often utilizing specialized knowledge of asset management systems to maintain detailed records and optimize the movement of assets.Regularly conducting physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of asset records and address any discrepanciesProperly storing assets in designated areas based on their type and value, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environmentTagging every product and entering data into CMMSIdentifying and locating the right products during the delivery processKeeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventoryOperates forklifts, box truck, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move and deliver items from receiving dock to final destination.Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.Recording the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets.Complying with all safety and health regulations.Efficient and safe use of hand tools as required.Cleans worksites, including hauling of debris and trash to the dumpster, cleaning tools and equipment and ensuring tools, materials and equipment are stored properly.Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP).All work to be scheduled and completed from a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Plan and schedule onsite vendor assist moves and installsEnsuring temperature transmitter installs/removals, initial /final calibrations, Building Management Systems (BMS) connection/disconnection, Siemens installs, and compliance validations are completed on all GxP refrigerators, freezers, and incubators.Performing field work related to different job requests including, but not limited to mechanical spaces, roofs, electrical rooms, powerhouse, laboratories, and outdoors.Submitting requests to add new and remove decommissioned equipment to Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedulesAs the Asset Management Coordinator, you will be expected to:Work in a team environment with a one team mentality: be friendly, respectful, empathetic, and professional to teammates and clients.Value and respect employee authenticity and demonstrate cultural awareness to create a memorable experience and a respectful workplace.Balance workload and multiple tasks while focusing on attention to detail and prioritizing assignments.Take initiative to resolve issues that arise and solve problems independently; to resolve problems on the first call and avoid escalation of issues through operational knowledge.Minimum Requirements:3 years' maintenance or asset handling experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experienceActive US Drivers licenseExperience operating material handling box truck, pallet stacker, forklift, lift gates, mobile elevated work platforms, mobile table lift cartsFamiliarity with safety measures in dealing with material handling, skills with various material handling equipmentExcellent customer communication and customer service skills requiredAbility to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.Some physical/special requirements include:Regularly lift to 50 lbsRegularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffoldingRepetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movementWalk extensively throughout the plant during shiftWork at an accelerated pace in emergency conditionsAbility to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-codingWear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.Preferred Requirements:Technical degree preferred.Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campusesStrong organizational and attention to detail skillsProficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and asset management softwareBasic computer literacy and data entry skillsAbility to operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacksKnowledge of inventory control practicesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPhysical ability to lift and move heavy itemsAbility to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems.Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Compensation Details: The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
