As an Assessment Specialist Supervisor (RN) joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier.How you'll contributeAn Assessment Specialist Supervisor (RN) who excels in this role: This position is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.Facilitates response to request for services, including the initial response, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care, admission into services and appropriate follow up activityConducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documenting patient symptomology, functioning, needs and provides information to MD for LOC determinationDemonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous mannerPossess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALAMaintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy, completes all per-certification with insurance companiesEnsures appropriate staffing for shiftMinimizes use of overtimeAssists in monitoring attendanceEducates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisionsReports all issues and incidents to the Director appropriatelyEnsure staff has completed all needed documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and additional tasks prior to the end of shiftWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
