About the Role:
Gammon Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assessment and Learning Specialist to join their academic team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the educational experience of future theological leaders by driving meaningful assessment strategies and fostering a culture of continuous learning and academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and evaluate student learning assessments aligned with institutional and accreditation standards
Collaborate with faculty to develop curriculum assessment tools and outcome measurement strategies
Analyze assessment data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for academic program improvement
Support faculty in integrating evidence-based instructional practices and learning technologies
Coordinate institutional effectiveness reporting and accreditation documentation related to student learning outcomes
Facilitate professional development workshops for faculty on assessment best practices
Maintain accurate records of assessment activities, findings, and improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
Experience in academic assessment, instructional design, or educational program evaluation
Familiarity with accreditation processes and institutional effectiveness frameworks
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with faculty and administration
Experience in a theological, seminary, or faith-based academic environment is a plus
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to academic excellence and student success
