Assembly WorkerAs an Assembler, you will perform entry-level assembly tasks in multiple stations to produce high-quality medical devices and equipment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining quality and regulatory standards, adhering to safety protocols, and working efficiently as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key responsibilities include:Assemble and test medical devices, equipment, and components according to established procedures and quality standards.Review quality points and follow work instructions precisely.Use hand tools, automated machinery, and power tools to complete tasks in compliance with GMP and FDA regulations.Assemble electronic components and modules as directed.Document production activities accurately, including Device History Record (DHR) paperwork when required.Prepare and organize kits for assembly processes; verify contents and maintain inventory levels.Label and package kits for distribution within the facility.Handle materials, parts, and assemblies, ensuring proper storage and replenishing as needed.Report discrepancies and quality issues to Team Leaders promptly.Support quality control by escalating any defects, non-conformities, or issues.Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.Package and label assemblies for shipment, adjusting pallets as necessary.Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 6S principles and company standards.Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and GMP requirements.Report hazards, near misses, and incidents to help foster a safe workplace.Qualifications include:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, part specifications, and assembly drawings.Strong attention to detail with visual inspection skills for spotting defects.Effective teamwork and clear communication skills.Basic problem-solving abilities for addressing minor assembly issues.Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and work in a fast-paced environment.Physical requirements include:Prolonged standing for up to 8 – 12 hours per shift.Frequent walking within the production area.Lifting and carrying materials up to 25-55 lbs. (Team lift or equipment required for items over 40 lbs.)Frequent lifting and carrying of lighter items (under 25 lbs.)
