Assembly JobLocation: Tempe, AZ 85281 Duration: 12 months Pay Range: $17/hr - $19.50/hr on W2 Shift: Compressed Shift 1B (Thurs, Fri, Sat, and e/o Wed 5am - 5pm)Job DescriptionTube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.Essential ResponsibilitiesAbility to wear required PPE to fullfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high quality products.Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email) Good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.Must be able to clearly read and write in English.Basic QualificationsRequires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.Preferred QualificationsGood hand/eye coordination.Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks.Ability to sit for long periods of time.High level of attention to detail.Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs.Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required.Work 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
