Assembly TechnicianAscentec Engineering is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our Pallet Division. As an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of electronic assembly tooling, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our day shift team (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quick-turn manufacturing environment and possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands-on assembly skills. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and contribute effectively as part of a high-performing team.This position is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.Job Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to:Work with precision machined parts while assembling, cleaning, deburring, sanding & lappingUse of power and hand tools: chop saw, drills, Dremel, torque drivers, files, pneumatic sanders, etc.Installation of hardware and electromechanical assembliesPreventative maintenance for selected handheld toolsCheck parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures and dial gaugesOther tasks as defined by leadershipJob Qualification/Experience & Technical Skills:1 year in a production/manufacturing environment highly preferred, but not requiredExperience installing rivets, studs, standoffs and Heli coils, a plusAble to read and understand project specifications, blueprints and drawingsUse of Microsoft Office toolsPersonal Qualifications:Critical Thinker and Ability to Problem SolveSelf-Starter/Self-Motivated/Flexible/Detail orientedReliable and dependableDetail Oriented and Quality Oriented - "do it right the first time"Positive customer focused attitude and outlookEnjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environmentProfessional demeanor, respectful towards people in all situations and honest with good integrityFlexible and willing to help others, as needs and tasks change oftenTeam Player with strong communications skills.Willing to work flex hours as need arises (e.g.
