Assembly Technician & Light MachinistThe Assembly Technician & Light Machinist will be responsible for the precise assembly of electro-mechanical components and the operation of light machining equipment to produce parts for our advanced counter-drone systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical assembly principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.Assembly:Perform precise assembly of complex electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of assembly progress, materials used, and quality control data.Machining:Operate light machining equipment (e.g., lathes, milling machines, drills) to produce and modify components from various materials.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining operations.Set up and adjust machining parameters, including feeds, speeds, and tool selection.Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tooling.Inspect machined parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface finish using precision measuring instruments.General:Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product design.Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices in the workshop.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
