Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling wire and cable components under close supervision. This role focuses on following standard work procedures and following blueprints provided while performing basic quality checks to support production processes.What You'll DoAssemble wire and cable components according to provided blueprints and standard procedures while following instructionsPerform basic quality checks under close supervision to ensure components meet quality standards, including visually inspecting connections and absence of damage or defectsReport issues or deviations to leads or supervisors with minimal interpretationAssist in preparing materials for assembly by cutting wires to specified lengths and stripping insulation as directed, using basic hand tools under close guidanceSupport the documentation process by labeling assemblies as instructed, ensuring traceability and record-keeping accuracyCollaborate with supervisors to gather necessary tools and materials for each assembly task, seeking clarification when neededParticipate in routine maintenance of assembly tools and equipment by reporting any malfunctions or wear to leads and supervisors and assisting in basic cleanup after useMaintain an organized work area by keeping aisles and workstation clear, properly storing materials, and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazardsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredNo prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Previous assembly or production experience in the electronics industry preferred.Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detailAbility to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environmentWillingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervisionSpecial Requirements:U.S.
