Vernon, MO USAActivity at Location: Manufacture of conveyorsWork Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the USAReports to: Finish SupervisorJob Description: The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling and testing conveyor systems and related components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, models, and quality standards. This position requires the ability to safely use hand and power tools, follow assembly procedures, maintain productivity goals, and ensure that finished products meet all applicable requirements.Responsibilities:Build, assemble, and test conveyorsInstall belts, gear boxes, motors and other components and sub-assemblies on structuresPrep finished machines for shipping and aid in the loading of trucksMaterial handling different components and conveyors both inside and outside the plantRequired Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required.Must be able to work assigned shift.Must speak, read, write English fluently.Must be mechanically inclinedEffectively operate an overhead craneAbility to determine how to load a truckMust be able to use hand tools and air toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to read tape measurePreferred Qualifications:Experience with PLC'sExperience with 3-phase and 12/24 VDC electrical control systemsState electrical licenseFamiliarity with Hydraulic components and their operationKnowledge of troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret schematicsExperience working directly with Engineering teamsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to work as a teamAbility to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written skillsHighest level of integrity, honesty and trustDrive for resultsExcellent listening skillsStrong communication skillsPerseveranceA "Can do" attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional teamAbility to work with others to meet deadlinesPhysical Requirements:Performs climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting; holds and grips objects; exerts in excess of 100lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20lbs of force constantly to move objects.

Subject to prolonged periods of walking and standing. Subject to repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Working Conditions:This position is subject to working both indoors and outdoors, subject to extreme cold and heat due to the weather, subject to noise and subject to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation that could affect the respiratory system of the skin, is also subject to oils.
