Assembly Technician
The Opportunity:
The C-Motive motor is a highly engineered product, and demand is currently at an
all-time high for both internal testing and customer demonstrations. C-Motive is
seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician to support the build and production of
next-generation electrostatic motors.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new
skills, solving mechanical challenges, and being part of a growing production team.
As a member of the Production team, you’ll work alongside engineering, testing, and
quality teams to assemble components, support production activities, and help scale
one of the most innovative motor technologies in the world.
This is an entry-level role with strong growth opportunity as C-Motive continues to
expand production operations.
The Ideal Candidate is:
• Curious and eager to learn
• Comfortable working with tools and mechanical components
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Able to follow instructions and adapt to changing
priorities
• Interested in growing within a manufacturing or technical environment
You do not need prior motor experience to succeed in this role. We are looking for
people with strong attitudes, hands-on aptitude, and willingness to learn.
What You Will Do
• Assemble mechanical and electrical subcomponents
• Clean, inspect, and prepare parts for assembly
• Use hand tools and measurement equipment
• Support testing and production activities
• Maintain organized workstations and documentation
• Work closely with engineering and production teams
• Assist with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications
• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, mechanical work, automotive work,
lab environments, or hands-on technical roles preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable learning new processes and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety and quality
Bonus
Qualifications
• Soldering or wiring experience
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or gauges
• Cleanroom or laboratory experience
