The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and experience using hand tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling products according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and other manufactured components according to work instructions and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and assembly documentation to complete assigned builds accuratelyUse a variety of hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to perform assembly tasksMaintain accurate production logs, records, and reports related to work completed, equipment maintenance, and product issuesPerform basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs as needed to support production operationsMaintain and organize tools, parts, and supplies; communicate material needs to the appropriate team membersPerform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standardsIdentify and report defects, inconsistencies, or production concerns to supervisors in a timely mannerMove completed units through production areas, including Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), Mounting, and staging areas as assignedMount units to trailers following established procedures and safety guidelinesFollow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work areaPerform additional duties and special projects as assignedRequired Skills & Qualifications:Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamExperience using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipmentAbility to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshootingBasic math, reading, and writing skills requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software for completing production logs and recordsReliable attendance and ability to meet production deadlinesEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production experience preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasksAbility to lift up to 60 pounds at a timeStrong manual dexterity required for assembling products and componentsExcellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to distinguish between colored wires, tabs, labels, and electronic componentsAbility to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold environments during seasonal changesMust wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and hearing protectionCore Competencies: Assembly, Manufacturing Operations, Blueprint Reading, Mechanical Aptitude, Hand Tools, Quality Control, Equipment Maintenance, Production Documentation, Safety Awareness, Attention to Detail, Teamwork, Reliability
