DIRECT HIRE positions are available at all levels, from entry-level Trainees to experienced Level 3 technicians. No prior assembly experience required for trainee level—just a willingness to learn and grow.
Eligible applicants will also receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation Bonus: Exceptional Level 2 and 3 candidates who reside outside of Minnesota may qualify for a relocation bonus equal to one (1) month's base wage (taxed). You will also be eligible for the $2,000 sign-on bonus.Job DetailsLocation: Hermantown/Duluth, MNPay Range: $20.00 – $26.50 per hour, based on experience/technician level (Plus 12% weekend shift differential for weekends)Schedule Options: First Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as required)Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (eligibility guidelines apply)Benefits: 401k match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 100 hours PTO in first year, 8 paid holidaysKey Responsibilities (vary by level):Assemble, inspect, and install components, sub-assemblies, and composite partsRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsInstall rivets, screws, bolts, and hardware using appropriate toolsRoute wires, cables, and tubingMix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructionsMaintain a clean, organized workstationWear appropriate personal protective equipment (may include respirator)Accurately document build instructions and any defectsTroubleshoot systems (senior levels)Mentor and train other technicians (Level 3)Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required for all levelsEntry-Level (Trainee/Level 1): No experience required; one year related experience preferredLevel 2: Minimum two years' related experience in manufacturing, automotive, or similar fieldsLevel 3: Minimum five years' related experience with ability to train and mentor othersStrong attention to detail, integrity, teamwork, reliability, and adaptabilityAbility to read blueprints and measure preciselyFamiliarity with basic tools and proper tool selectionExperience in assembly, mechanical trades, carpentry, construction, plumbing, manufacturing, or military maintenance roles preferredCompetencies:Self-developmentIntegrityAction-oriented approachEffective communicationAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:401k match up to 5%Tuition reimbursementMedical, dental, vision, life insurance100 hours PTO in first year8 paid holidaysNote: Work beyond 40 hours per week may be required.
