Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician performs exterior finishing work on smaller RV trailers, completing mechanical and electrical installations using a variety of hand and power tools. This role focuses on precise assembly of doors, AC units, awnings, and related components, following blueprints, schematics, and production requirements to deliver high-quality finished trailers.ResponsibilitiesPerform exterior finishing work on small RV trailers, ensuring all components are installed accurately and securely.Install doors, AC units, awnings, and other mechanical assemblies on trailers using appropriate hand and power tools.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete assembly tasks according to specifications.Use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures to perform precise measurements, cuts, and installations.Work on an assembly line, contributing to efficient production flow and meeting daily output targets.Perform mechanical assembly and general labor tasks required to complete trailer builds.Handle basic electrical tasks, including routing and connecting wiring as directed by schematics.Inspect completed work for quality, safety, and proper function, making adjustments as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating tools and working around equipment.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing and production facility focused on assembling small RV trailers. Work is performed at a designated station on an assembly line, using a range of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other mechanical and electrical equipment. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring standing for extended periods, moving around the workstation, and handling various trailer components. Team members follow established safety procedures and work collaboratively to meet production goals.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Backus, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
