Assembly Technician

Assembly TechnicianMMBR Systems, an Integrated Water Services (IWS) company, is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support assembly and production operations at our Austin, TX facility. This role is responsible for assembling and packaging components and equipment to technical specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Integrated Water Services (IWS) is revolutionizing water! Join us in building a better future, one water drop at a time.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment while following technical drawings and schematicsInspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specificationsTroubleshoot mechanical issues during the assembly process to minimize delaysMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standardsDocument assembly processes, production metrics, and quality-related informationSupport material handling and inventory management to ensure efficient workflowCollaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve assembly processes and efficiencyRequirementsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environmentProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsPreferred:Technical certification or vocational training in assembly or manufacturingExperience with lean manufacturing or quality control processesFamiliarity with precision components and mechanical assemblyPhysical & Work Environment:Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to equipment and moderate noiseAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and operate material handling equipmentMay require overtime or occasional weekend workProtective equipment required; adherence to safety protocols is mandatoryWhy Join IWS?Opportunity to support the launch and growth of a new production facilityCollaborative, team-oriented environment with strong support from engineering and operationsMission-driven work delivering critical water and wastewater solutionsJoin Our Team:Are you ready to make a splash?
