ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift, who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.Your main responsibilities will be:Assembling various types of industrial fans per work order and within stated scrap ratesBalancing & testing fans and motorsStaging partsReading blueprintsUsing precision measurement equipmentDaily workplace cleaningOperating a forklift & pallet jackOther duties as assignedJob requirements:Proven work experience in productionWorking with basic hand tools & precision measuring equipment.Basic math skillsExperience with inventoryWorking with hand tools, detail oriented in a fast paced environment, familiar with metric systemFamiliar with windows based computersKnowledge of lean manufacturingAbility to stand on concrete for the entirety of the shiftAbility to pick up and move partsHeavy lifting (50 lbs.
