We're looking for people who take pride in their work, show up ready to contribute, and want to be part of a team that expects more and delivers more.Position Summary: The Assembly Tech Lead is responsible for providing guidance and support to subordinate team members in order to meet production schedules.Duties and Responsibilities:Model Jupiter Bach's hierarchy of operation SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)Take responsibility of subordinate team members adherence to SQDC hierarchyMeet with manager and/or supervisor daily for schedule and updatesEnsure that the team is operating under current work instruction guidelinesCommunicate any HR issues to manager immediatelyProvide accurate hands-on-training to team members as neededPerform quality inspections, and correct subpar quality items before releasing to the next departmentAccurately complete all required paperwork and turn in daily as required by manager or supervisorResponsible for maintaining and securing tools dailyPerform audits accurately and on time as scheduledResponsible for team's adherence to scheduled breaksResponsible for team's adherence to company policies and must report violations to manager or supervisor immediatelyResponsible for maintaining acceptable level of cleanliness of production area dailyInventory of production items as required by managerAdheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACHOther duties as assignedEducation and Experience Required:HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institutionExperience with required tools for the production process is requiredKnowledge of the production process is requiredProven dependability, performance, and attendance is requiredAbility to read, understand, and convey work instructions to team members is requiredMust be willing to be utilized in other departments and production roles as necessaryPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Effective written and verbal communication skillsForklift certification is preferredHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailKnowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environmentMust be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shiftMust be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shiftMust be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
