Job OpportunityWe're seeking a versatile professional with experience in both manual machining and mechanical assembly. This dual-role position involves building custom automation components, from precision machining to hands-on equipment assembly and integration.What You'll Do:Operate manual machines (mill, lathe, grinder) to fabricate components to tight tolerancesAssemble mechanical systems including frames, guarding, sub-assemblies, and motion mechanismsWork with a range of materials: steel, stainless, tool steel, plastics, aluminum extrusions, and polycarbonateInterpret part and assembly drawings with minimal oversightPerform setups, alignments, and adjustments during system buildUse calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurement and inspectionAssist with material handling using forklifts or pallet jacksContribute to a collaborative build process with engineers, techs, and fabricatorsWhat You Bring:3–5 years machining experience (manual required, CNC a plus)2–4 years mechanical assembly experience in an industrial settingSolid understanding of machine componentsStrong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilityAbility to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet 8–10 hours a dayComfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environmentWorking knowledge of pneumatics and mechanical systems preferredWhy You'll Love It Here:Competitive pay and benefitsExposure to a wide variety of challenging automation projectsOpportunity to grow technical skills in a supportive teamHands-on, high-impact work in a creative environment
