Assembly Table LeaderThe Assembly Table Leader is responsible for leading a production team in the assembly of materials and components according to work orders and specifications. This role combines hands-on assembly work with team leadership, ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently, and safely. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and capable of guiding a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Lead the assembly of materials and components based on work orders, drawings, and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to ensure accurate assemblyMeasure, position, and secure materials using hand tools and equipmentEnsure components are aligned, fastened, and completed to quality standardsMark, label, and verify finished products for accuracy and trackingLead and support team members at the workstation to meet daily production goalsProvide guidance, training, and coaching to improve team performancePromote teamwork, communication, and accountability on the production floorInspect work throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with specificationsIdentify and correct errors or inconsistencies in materials or assemblyMaintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow and enforce all safety policies and proceduresEnsure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPEIdentify and report safety concerns or hazardsCoordinate workflow at the assembly table to maximize efficiencySupport continuous improvement efforts in production processesPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipWhat you'll bring:Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or assembly instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accuratelyAbility to follow instructions and standardized processesStrong communication and teamwork skillsMechanical aptitude and comfort using hand toolsExperience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environmentsPrior experience leading or training team membersFamiliarity with building materials or similar productsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift and move materials (typically up to 50 lbs, occasionally more)Comfortability with performing work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and equipmentComfortability with potentially working in varying temperatures and conditionsComfortability with exposure to machinery and production equipmentAbility to work extended hours based on production needsWhat you'll earn:Health Care BenefitsPaid Time OffBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
