Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who knows how to keep production moving, solve problems on the floor, and develop a strong team? We're looking for an Assembly Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day assembly operations while ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll work closely with Production Scheduling, Engineering, and other departments to coordinate assembly activities, prepare equipment and production lines, train employees, and troubleshoot issues that could impact production.
What You'll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate assembly setup, sample, and operator personnel.
  • Coordinate daily assembly schedules and priorities with the Production Scheduler.
  • Ensure assembly lines are properly set up according to work orders, specifications, and established procedures.
  • Confirm the necessary equipment, tooling, materials, and supplies are available to complete scheduled assembly jobs.
  • Train and coach employees on proper equipment setup, operation, and required maintenance.
  • Provide hands-on support when production or equipment issues arise.
  • Review work orders, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), routers, and setup/operator instructions to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Modify BOMs and routers when manufacturing or assembly routing changes are required.
  • Monitor assembly operations for quality, productivity, and safety.
  • Identify production, equipment, or process issues and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and address performance concerns when necessary.
  • Partner with Production Planning, Engineering, and other departments to improve assembly processes and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate assembly setup and production documentation.
  • Ensure employees consistently follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or training preferred.
  • Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment .
  • Strong understanding of assembly processes, equipment setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and production issues.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and regulations.
  • Previous experience leading, training, coaching, or supervising production employees.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, work orders, BOMs, routers, and manufacturing instructions .
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with production, scheduling, engineering, and management.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, production data systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
