This role serves as a key link between Production and Engineering, helping ensure assembly processes are stable, capable, and consistently meet quality, yield, and throughput targets.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Ownership & ExecutionTechnical Troubleshooting & Root Cause AnalysisProcess Development & NPI SupportContinuous ImprovementDocumentation & Process ControlExperiences/Education - RequiredAssociate's degree (AAS) in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field OR high school diploma/GED with 5–7+ years of relevant assembly or process experience Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or precision assembly environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specificationsExperiences/Education - DesiredExperience supporting Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering teams Knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods, and quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001 Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as DMAIC, RCCA, or 8D Familiarity with MES, ERP, or other digital manufacturing systems Experience in optics, aerospace, or other high-precision assembly environmentsCore CompetenciesProcess-focused mindset with strong operational discipline Data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement orientation Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to translate engineering intent into effective manufacturing executionThis position does not support immigration sponsorship.
