TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market.In this position, you will work in a team-oriented environment, operating production equipment and performing a variety of tasks. The Assembly Operator and Assembly Inspector are responsible for meeting departmental production, quality, and safety standards. Upon training within the department, the Assembly Operator and Assembly Inspector will be responsible for independently reading and verifying the job orders and then setting up and completing the manufacturing process.Duties and Responsibilities:Read and accurately understand the job order, instructions, and customer specificationsSet up and operate different types of machinery according to the department processes and each job's requirementsConsistently evaluate product for quality, verifying departmental procedures are completed accuratelyRecord defects, document quality data, and work within the quality management system. Immediately escalate issues to the production technician, management, or engineeringFollow all safety training and procedures as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical handling (certain positions), and hazardous waste (certain positions)Responsible for immediately reporting all accidents, near misses, and safety concernsCross train on operations and equipment within the areaEssential Knowledge and Skills:Quality centered mindset with strong attention-to-detailAble to be a positive team member while also working independentlyGeneral computer skills and ability to update electronic records and enter data into systemsAble to stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 25-50 poundsAble to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the jobConsistently meet attendance requirements. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as necessaryComfortable working within a manufacturing environment that includes machinery, moving parts, and noiseAbility and willingness to cross-train in other departments, learning to operate other machineryDue to ITAR requirement, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent ResidentEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent is required.1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, but no requiredPrevious experience in a fast-paced environment with high volume of workload preferredTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
