Assembly Operator IPay Rate: $17.61/hrShift: 1st shift – 7:00am to 3:30pmMonday-FridayTemp to Hire (Onsite)Location: Fairview, NCPosition: Kelly Services is seeking candidates for an Assembly Operator I position at our Fairview, NC facility, specializing in the manufacturing of relays and switches for the aerospace industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.ResponsibilitiesAssemble components which may require the use of microscopes, small hand tools, and specific fixtures.Inspect work to ensure quality using established standards and work instructions.Conduct pull tests for designated operations as needed.Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring tools.Inspect products according to technical drawings.Complete necessary paperwork to maintain product traceability.Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area.Adhere to all operational, departmental, and safety guidelines and policies.May be assigned other tasks as required.Read and perform tasks according to provided drawings and instructions.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Basic computer skills preferred.Good communication skills.Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.Experience using measuring instruments (such as gauges and calipers) preferred.Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.Willing and able to work overtime as production needs require.Able to lift/move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time.Capable of operating machinery and moving between work zones.Proficient in understanding and following written instructions in English.Additional RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United States as required under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR): U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
